Forrest Pre-School follows the vision "Belonging, Being and Becoming" in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework
(EYLF) for Australia, set up by the Commonwealth Government in 2009. The five key learning outcomes are: Identity, Community, Wellbeing, Learning and Communication.

Forrest Pre-School runs a play-based program, where every child and family is respected and valued. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe and happy. We take an active interest in the children's ideas and questioning, and encourage reflective thinking.  The children are seen as competent and capable learners, and we wish to provide an environment within which every child can develop at their own pace. We believe that all children develop and learn in different ways, and that all areas of learning and development are equally important and interconnected.
